Whites Hill State College

Whites Hill State College is located on a large campus only eight kilometres south of central Brisbane. With less than 800 students, the college offers it‘s few international students good opportunities to integrate quickly and become part of a solid community. There is a strong commitment to personalised teaching. The teachers know each student and know how he/she learns. This is supported by a High School Preparation Program for exchange students who need special language support (see also “English language skills”).

Whites Hill State College’s strong links with Griffith University and other colleges and universities provide excellent opportunities for students to find initial information for their future after graduation.

For its excellent music program, Whites Hill State College has its own Music Department with several large classrooms, a studio for instrumental instruction and three rehearsal rooms. All these facilities can be used throughout the day.

Extracurricular activities include excursions, music and sports. There is a large fencing club on the campus right next to the school.
