Upper Coomera State College is located at the northern end of the Gold Coast, nestled between the Gold Coast hinterland and some of Australia’s best beaches, and only 30 minutes from Brisbane city centre.
Upper Coomera State College focuses on STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), the Arts and Physical Education, offering innovative and academically challenging courses for high-performing students. These are supplemented within the curriculum by subject-related excursions and camps.

Within the Creative Arts Academy, enthusiasts in film, theater, visual arts, dance and music will find every opportunity to give free rein to their creativity. They are supported by expert teachers and state-of-the-art facilities at a professional level. The school regularly puts on its own musical productions.
The Future Stars Academy, in collaboration with the Gold Coast Academy of Sport (GCAS), offers training specifically for talented athletes from all year groups who have reached a high level in their individual or team sports and want to develop this further.
The Basketball Academy is focused on achieving top results in basketball.
The school has a student-run café where the next generation of bartenders, hoteliers, caterers and waiters learn all the skills they need to succeed in their respective careers. Hospitality students work daily café shifts and at school events.
