South Sydney High School

South Sydney High School is located in Maroubra, a diverse and colourful community in the beautiful south-eastern suburbs of Sydney. Maroubra is strategically located just a short bus ride from downtown Sydney and the famous Bondi Beach. Maroubra Beach, a very good local surf spot and just 2 km from the school, is also where the Learn-to-Surf programme takes place, which the school supports with ten free lessons.

South Sydney High School teaches students from many different cultural backgrounds. It has a strong academic program with a very wide range of courses, each tailored to the older and younger students. The teachers are all highly experienced and most have been teaching at the school for more than ten years.

South Sydney High School is innovative in its approach to supporting future-oriented learning, and students are offered many opportunities to develop important skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity and teamwork.
