Seaford Secondary College is located in Seaford, a southern suburb of Adelaide, just 1.5km from some of South Australia’s finest surfing beaches. It takes ten minutes by bus to reach a large shopping centre and 45 minutes by train to Adelaide city centre. Seaford train station is right next to the school.
Seaford Secondary College focuses on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), IT, Media, Graphics, Visual and Performing Arts including a large music programme. There are workshops for wood and metal, as well as a kitchen suitable for gastronomy.
Several focused sports programs are offered. These include volleyball and football and – especially for the Internationals – surfing and aquatics (snorkelling, kayaking and bodyboarding). This course is offered in cooperation with a local water sports club, but only in the warmer seasons, i.e. Term 1 and 4.
