Prospect High School is a rather small school located in the suburb of Prospect, 7 km south of Launceston. The school has a long tradition of very good educational success across all sectors. In 2017, the campus was redeveloped and remodelled at a cost of $8.5 million, and the new teaching spaces, including art studio, dance and drama studios, have helped make Prospect High School a modern, comfortable school that encourages ownership and provides high-quality teaching and learning.
Prospect High School is a very pleasant and friendly school in every respect. The local students are extremely interested in the internationals and are happy to integrate them into their community.
