Nambour State College is located on the Sunshine Coast, between beaches and the hinterland. Nambour State College was founded in 2016 through the merger of Nambour State High School and Nambour State Primary School. Two of the oldest schools on the Sunshine Coast have existed side by side for decades and decided to join forces to provide optimal education for all grades as a state P-12 (Prep to year 12) school. A wide range of academic and vocational preparation subjects as well as a wide range of extracurricular activities are offered.
Nambour State College is the only school to offer an intensive primary school course for international guest students without any prior knowledge of English.
The school’s own farm is unique and enjoys an excellent reputation at many local and national exhibitions. The farm has a real dairy and the students get to know all aspects of running a farm.
