Nambour State College

Regional School

Nambour State College is located on the Sunshine Coast, between beaches and the hinterland. Nambour State College was founded in 2016 through the merger of Nambour State High School and Nambour State Primary School. The two original campuses are now the respective campuses for Juniors and Seniors.

Students at Nambour State College have a wide choice of academic and pre-vocational subjects as well as a wide range of extra-curricular activities.

There is a very successful English as a Foreign Language department, which is particularly attractive to international students at all levels. High quality support programs help students from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds to actively participate in the curriculum.

The school’s own farm is unique and enjoys an excellent reputation thanks to many local and national exhibitions. The farm has a real dairy and the students get to know all aspects of running a farm.

The Nambour Academy of Creative Arts (NACA) is a program of excellence in music, dance, drama and visual arts. In conjunction with NACA, Nambour State College offers a variety of award-winning ensembles, groups and activities for students to participate in.
