Menai High School

Menai High School is a modern, well equipped school in a quiet suburb surrounded by tranquil bush landscape. The city centre of Sydney is about 25 km away.

Menai High School offers a diverse selection of subjects and courses, a wide range of sports and exciting extracurricular activities. Of particular interest are the courses in marine biology and agriculture. Students studying “Marine Studies” have access to the school boat moored in the marina of Port Hacking, on which students can get their driving licence under certain conditions. There is also an annual excursion to Lady Elliot Island.

Cattle, sheep and goats as well as various small animals are kept on the school’s own farm. Agriculture students can also join the Agriculture Show Team, which takes the animals to local shows as well as the annual Sydney Royal Easter Show. The school also offers regular excursions to Sydney’s many museums and science-related facilities such as the Sydney Observatory.

Computer course students can choose to take part in an annual international competition organised by the University of New South Wales, as well as holiday workshops at various other universities, to develop and implement digital projects.
