Eastern Fleurieu School

Regional School

Eastern Fleurieu School was created by merging five existing schools southeast of Adelaide in the heart of an agriculturally fertile area on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Eastern Fleurieu School is therefore a multi-campus school with five locations, with the 7-12 grade school located in Strathalbyn, which is about 45 minutes drive south-east of Adelaide.

The facilities are a mix of attractive historic buildings and modern new buildings, which have just been extended by an $11 million refurbishment project that includes a new performing arts centre, The Trevor Fletcher Performing Arts Centre, and dedicated buildings for home economics and science.

Eastern Fleurieu School sees itself as a very different, if not unique, school in South Australia, offering programmes and courses not normally available in other public or private schools. These include flexible courses, particularly in senior high school, as well as academic and vocational curricula that will take you to university or industry careers.

The school has a very successful tradition of sports, and the expanded facilities in the new buildings will provide a strong focus on new programs in the visual and performing arts.
