Dalyellup College

Dalyellup College is one of the newest secondary schools in the Bunbury/Capel region in southwestern Western Australia. The nearby city of Bunbury, with a population of around 70,000, is the second largest city in the state and forms the economic, cultural, and educational center of the South West Region.

Dalyellup College has some of the most modern facilities in the entire region. Two multi-story buildings form the architectural heart of the campus and house state-of-the-art science and information technology classrooms, spacious classrooms for upper school students, and central areas for student support. These are complemented by a 75-seat auditorium, which is used for lectures, presentations, and school events. In addition, a separate, newly constructed building is available for the design, technology, and home economics departments, enabling practical learning in professionally equipped rooms.

A particular highlight of Dalyellup College is the AMPt program (Advanced Musical Performance and Training). This specialized music program combines in-depth theoretical instruction with intensive practical training. Participants can develop their musical skills on brass and woodwind instruments, guitar, keyboard, or drums. The orchestra, which is part of the program, offers regular opportunities to perform at school events, regional concerts, and music festivals, allowing students to gain valuable stage experience.

Creatively oriented students will find a diverse and inspiring range of options in the STUDIO (Specialist Visual Arts)program. The aim of the program is to awaken and develop creative potential by working with a wide variety of media and techniques. The spectrum ranges from classical drawing and painting to digital art forms, sculpture, and other contemporary forms of expression.
