Bayside P-12 College

Bayside P-12 College is located in the attractive coastal area of Melbourne’s inner west, about twelve kilometers from the CBD. The surrounding area features beaches in Williamstown and Altona, numerous parks and nature reserves, as well as lively café and restaurant districts. Shopping venues are easily accessible from the campus, and excellent public transportation links ensure quick and convenient travel to the city center.

Bayside P-12 College is an established, coeducational school with multiple campuses and a long-standing, successful program for international students. The multicultural student body benefits from a wide range of co-curricular activities, ranging from instrumental music and debate clubs to an “Academic Achievers” program and a partnership with a Japanese sister school. High school exchange students attend the Paisley Senior Campus in Newport, which houses grades 10 through 12 and is equipped with modern facilities.

In collaboration with Tennis Victoria, Bayside P-12 College offers a unique tennis program for grades 7 through 12. Under the guidance of experienced world-class coaches, students receive elite-level individual and group training, supplemented by expert guidance in strength and conditioning, sports psychology, and nutrition. Regular competitions provide the opportunity to apply what they’ve learned in real-world conditions.

Every year, the college stages a major school production at the Altona City Theatre. Students gain experience on stage, behind the scenes, and in the creative process—a highlight of the school year that fosters teamwork, creativity, and self-confidence.

Each semester, the school organizes a variety of excursions specifically for international students—ranging from surfing, snorkeling, and go-karting to amusement parks, cultural centers, and First Nations sites.

The outdoor education program includes multi-day bushwalking camps where students navigate challenging terrain, camp in the wilderness, and experience Australian nature up close. The snow camp also offers the opportunity to ski or snowboard in breathtaking alpine scenery. Both programs foster perseverance, teamwork, and leadership skills.
