Ballina Coast High School

Regional School

The new Ballina Coast High School, a fusion of the old Ballina High School and Southern Cross School, was opened in brand new buildings at the beginning of 2019. Accordingly, all classrooms are modern and very well equipped. The school is spacious and offers plenty of room to move around inside and outside in all kinds of weather.

Ballina is a medium-sized coastal town with many opportunities for sports and outdoor enthusiasts and a centre for the fishing industry. There are friendly cafés, lively markets for handicrafts and good surfing opportunities. Many cycle paths criss-cross the town and offer great views of the sea, where dolphins and whales often swim in visible distance. Not far from Ballina are the top surf destinations of Byron Bay and Lennox Head.
