Devonport is located near the mouth of the Mersey River and with 22,000 inhabitants is the third largest city of Tasmania.

The city is known mainly because of its harbor and the pier of the ferry “Spirit of Tasmania” which establishes the regular connection to Sydney and Melbourne. “Colonial architecture” and national parks are remarkable parts Devonport.
