Coombabah State High School

Coombabah State High School is located in the northern part of the Gold Coast in a setting rich in natural beauty. Kangaroos are often seen on the school grounds.

The Visual Arts Program is specifically designed for students interested in the arts. In collaboration with local artists, participants develop their skills in various artistic techniques. In addition to classroom instruction, students build an individual portfolio documenting their own work.

The Dance Excellence Program offers talented dancers the opportunity to specifically develop their skills in various dance styles. Through workshops and practical training sessions, students gain stage experience and work toward a final performance.

Another key focus is the Health and Exercise Science Academy. This program is designed for students interested in sports science, fitness, or health-related career fields. It combines theoretical foundations with practical applications, making use of the modern facilities at the school’s own sports complex.

For students with particularly high athletic ambitions, the school also offers the Rugby League Excellence Program.
