Rose Bay High School

Rose Bay High School is located in the suburb of Rose Bay, Hobart on a hill with beautiful views of the River Derwent, Mount Wellington, the city of Hobart and the Tasman Bridge.

The school’s strength is its broad curriculum. In addition to the usual lessons, it also offers unusual subjects such as applied science and technology, metalwork, woodwork and design. Music is also very important here.

Rose Bay High School is very active in competitions in science (State Winner 2019), sports, robotics and music (Concert Band State Winner 2019). These programmes offer students the opportunity to experience their subjects in depth and expand their knowledge.

All international students can take advantage of supportive English lessons if needed. In addition, each international is offered a ‘buddy’, a local student who helps with integration and to answer any questions.
