Maroochydore State High School offers a wide range of subjects, which cater for international students. Some of the more popular subjects chosen by our overseas students include Marine Science (power boating, snorkelling and a Heron Island camp); Recreation Studies (Surfing); Film, Television and New Media; Hospitality; Aerospace Engineering and Aquatic Practices (sailing, boating, fishing; sport and extra-curricular activities).

The school also offers a range of other activities for International students. Some of these include trips to Lady Elliot Island on the Great Barrier Reef, Fraser Island, Tangalooma on Moreton Island, Whale Watching and Gold Coast/Byron Bay trips are normally organised for each semester, depending on demand.
