Kingscliff High School is located i the Tweed Coast regions on the northern coast of New South Wales, just south of the Queensland border. The Tweed Coast region is known for its relaxed lifestyle, clean surf beaches, local organic produce, lush green spaces and proximity to Byron Bay and the Gold Coast. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the school to the sea, meaning that many of the sports lessons also take place on the beach!

Marine Studies is a popular component of the teaching programme. Practical exercises such as snorkelling and diving are particularly fun and there is also the opportunity to obtain a diving licence or boat licence. In between, you can catch fish for the school aquarium. The subject Agricultural Studies is also popular with the school raising cows, sheep and chickens. In the creative field, Kingscliff High School focuses on theatre and musical performances.

Overall, the school strives to achieve very good learning results with a flexible and comprehensive range of courses.

Kingscliff High School has only a manageable number of international students. It takes no more than 11 internationals at a time, who have no problem connecting. The Australian students integrate them quickly and like to involve them in all activities.
