Caloundra Christian College

Caloundra Christian College is located on an eight-hectare campus in the heart of Caloundra City, close to all major sports facilities and the local beaches. The college is known for its commitment and its welcoming, family atmosphere.

The facilities of Caloundra Christian College are currently being renovated or completely redesigned, with the state-of-the-art library and various other buildings already completed. There is a large auditorium for meetings and theatre performances. Other facilities include centres for home economist/cooking, science, art, industrial design and technology, computer and internet facilities.

Caloundra Robotics Innovation & Business (CRIB) is a club for students who have an interest in robotics, technology and business. The weekly program includes both structured lessons and the opportunity to try out a range of digital tools such as augmented and virtual reality software, robots, drones and 3D printers. Students actively learn how to use technology to solve real-world problems. They work in teams and develop their understanding of mathematics and science.

The school offers a range of opportunities in competitive or recreational sports. Pupils can take part in school and club sports teams and receive professional training if they wish. One highlight is the basketball program. This program runs all year round with professional coaches who develop the skills of the participants in weekly training sessions. The teams take part in competitions at the Caloundra Basketball Club and also in the Sunshine Coast Secondary Schools Basketball Association competition.

There is a rich music program, and private lessons are available for a variety of instruments. Students can also join the college choir. A special musical is produced every six months.

Caloundra Christian College has developed an extensive camping program to develop everyday skills as well as the communication and teamwork skills of each student.
