Applecross Senior High School

Applecross Senior High School is located on a beautifully designed modern university-style campus in the suburb of Ardross. The centre of Perth is about 10 km away, and the picturesque Swan River in Applecross is just over a kilometre away. The school is easily accessible by bus and is close to a large shopping centre and cinema complex.

Applecross Senior High School has traditionally been one of the leading public high schools in Western Australia, consistently ranking in the top ten secondary schools in the state academically. About half of the students are of non-European origin and the school likes to cultivate this cultural diversity.

Since completing a major building and renovation programme in 2016, Applecross Senior High School now boasts state-of-the-art buildings and a world-class learning environment. Teaching and learning areas include a performing arts centre (dance, drama and music), a dedicated visual arts centre, a design and technology centre, three home economics rooms, an auditorium, eleven science laboratories, a fitness centre, a gymnasium and eight computer labs.

All classrooms have been networked and students have online access to the library resource centre and the internet through classroom computers or laptops.
