Perth, with about 1.6 million inhabitants the capital of Western Australia, is located on the Swan River and bordered by the shores of the Indian Ocean and the vineyards of the Swan Valley. Perth offers everything your heart desires from the lush Kings Park and deserted beaches up to the enchanting port of Fremantle and nearby Rottnest Island.
Who has time and Muse should cycle to one of the myriad clean and quiet beaches of Perth and explore with the kayak secluded coves. Perth is considered a metropolis of sailing and any other form of water sports. The sun shines almost every day with a hot and dry summer from November to April with temperatures up to 46 degrees and average temperatures between 26 and 32 degrees. At night it cools off. Winters are mild with an average temperature of 17 degrees.

- 30 minutes from Perth are the first class vineyards of the Swan Valley
- Boating on the sparkling blue Swan River is beautiful
- A ferry can bring you to the car-free Rottnest Island, famous for a variety of snorkeling, diving, surfing and swimming opportunities
- in the coastal village of Rockinham you can swim with dolphins
